Youth Groups
Our collaboration with Wellesley Village Church, UCC opens up wonderful youth group opportunities for children in grades 6-8 and 9-12. Sign up for the Family Life E-NEWS to stay up to date on Youth Group and Confirmation schedule of meetings and events.
For many high school students, youth group offers a fun and accepting, holy and safe environment – a place to let go of the stresses of daily life and be present to the contours of their own heart, to each other and to God’s life-giving Spirit. Here they connect the issues that matter most in their daily lives to the wisdom of ancient scripture.
The relationships that begin in youth group have a chance to deepen and develop during our two weekend retreats, one in the fall and one in the winter, and during our weeklong service project that takes place during the public school break in April.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation takes place during the 9th grade year in collaboration with Wellesley Village Church. During the confirmation year, the youth explore what it means to “be church.” Through the year, they discern how each is called to be an instrument of God’s creativity and love in our church and in our world as we delve together into the theological themes of Scripture, and experience the presence of God’s Holy Spirit among us.
